From his upcoming album Mahashashana, due November 22, Father John Misty releases a fitting video to match the poetic and fun-spirited bouncy track "She Cleans Up."
"She Cleans Up" incorporated Misty's usual rhythmical melodies and poetic lyrics. The video features a dancing Misty and clips of dancing strangers and incorporates an intriguing 90s homemade VHS-style edit. As always, Misty's lyrics are powerful and spiritual and are loaded with smart wit, euphemisms, and a slick and sassy attitude.
Already released tracks include a ballad "Screamland" and the funky jazz-infused 7 minute, "I Guess Time Just Makes Fools of Us All".
Misty will be hitting the road for a 2025 tour with Canadian rock band, Destroyer, kicking off in Chattanooga, TN in February.
