The Glastonbury 2025 lineup has been announced with headliners such as The 1975 and Olivia Rodrigo.
Classic rock acts such as Rod Stewart and Noel Young will also perform as part of the Sunday Legend spot.
The Glastonbury Festival is one of the world’s largest and most famous music and performing arts festivals, held annually at Worthy Farm in Pilton, Somerset, England. First established in 1970, the festival has grown into a five-day cultural event featuring a diverse lineup of music, art, theatre, comedy, circus performances, and activism.
While its roots are in rock and pop music, Glastonbury showcases a wide range of genres, including indie, electronic, folk, hip-hop, reggae, and world music. The festival is best known for its iconic Pyramid Stage, where some of the biggest names in music perform, alongside multiple other stages offering a variety of acts.
Beyond music, Glastonbury is also renowned for its unique atmosphere, featuring areas like Shangri-La, The Green Fields, and Arcadia, which offer immersive experiences, art installations, and alternative performances. It has a strong environmental and charitable focus, with a significant portion of its profits supporting organizations like Oxfam, Greenpeace, and WaterAid.
